The craziest thing that I did for love (at 18) was to get a tatoo of his name on my lower leg! That was 24 years ago and several, uhm, boyfriends later! *stupid*
Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  2. Mikki-Mano says:

Well, the craziest thing I’ve ever done for a boyfriend was cutting my her very, very short. He said she didn’t liked that my hair entagled with his hands -.- I’ve always had long hair which reached under my bottom, and I was so stupid to let him influence me…
    Thank you for the giveaway,

I flew to Italy to visit my boyfriend who was studying abroad, this was back when I had almost no money, so it took quite an effort to scrape the airfare together! We’ve been married for 15 years now… :)

Nice meeting you at the RWA!

Well, I had a guy who thought that I was embarrassed to be with him in public (SO not true by the way) so in the middle of one of the dining halls ( I was at college) I had a friend play “You’re the One that I Want” From Grease and I danced around on the tables in front of him. Turns out I embarrassed HIM with that little stunt and he broke up with me….lame…lol but that was definitely a crazy moment for me :D

The craziest thing I did was move to another state to be with a boyfriend after just a couple weeks of dating

  7. Rhianna says:

Married him. :P My guy and I were young and poor and pregnant and I wasn’t sure he even loved me. His proposal consisted of looking down at me while playing video games on the sofa and saying “You wanna get married?”… yeeeeeah, so not the proposal I envisioned when I was a little girl. Hence my reply “I dunno…” but we hit up a wedding chapel and almost 12 years later… we’re definitely in love and continue to shake our heads at our younger selves. :)

    Great giveaway Cassandra!

I’ve never really been a crazy person, at least not while sober. Never ran off, never got tattooed, only time I cut my hair was because my then boyfriend told me I couldn’t (needless to say I did).

The craziest thing was: I went against my family’s ideal and married the man I loved. He wasn’t rich as they wanted him to be, but I loved him and married him anyway. :)

I am the most boring person ever…but I guess the craziest thing I have every done for love is put up with my MIL! And then stand up to her! I have to clarify that I absolutely love her to death now…but it took about 6 years and the birth of our oldest daughter before things improved. Before that she was a walking, talking nightmare! Good thing my hubby is worth it!

I can’t really think of anything. . wait, there was this time in 6th grade or so when I liked this guy and it was around the time that the Pocahontas movie came out. One of his friends were making fun of us and I just got that seen where she tells her father I love him. It just happened to be that I said it (pretty loudly) to his friend and the whole gym class that we were in. I’m still embarrassed over it. I haven’t really had any boyfriends or dates . . .

  23. Krysta Banco says:

Well the awesome-est thing I ever did for love was my boyfriend was cooking me a surprise dinner and I came home early while he was in the shower. He was cooking chicken and baked potatoes with some veggies but let me tell you he can’t cook at all so I finished the meal the best I could, turned the heat down the sort of thing, then I left the house and drove around until it was time I was supposed to be home. I wanted him to be happy that he surprised me :)

The craziest (dumbest) thing I did was in high school and staying on the phone with him until 2, 3 and sometimes 4 in the morning on a school night. Most of the time neither one of us said anything..kind of stupid just sitting there listening to each other breathe.

  25. Pam S (pams00) says:

The craziest thing I ever did was drive 7 hrs the day I was released from the hositpal for food poisoning to go see my husband (now ex) for our 1 yr anniversary (he was stationed away in the navy).

What’s the craziest/awesome-est/silliest thing you did for love? Hmm…my friends and i had a HUGE crush on a guy when we were in about 5th grade maybe? Anyways, we decided that we’d make a cheer for him. We cheered infront of him and his friends, and wouldnt you know it, we misspelled his name. So embarrassing. I could never look him in the face again. lol :P Thanks for the great giveaway!

  29. Spav says:

I remember when I was 12 that there was a boy in my class that I liked. He didn’t even know I existed so when the whole class went to the amusement park and I saw he was going into the bumper car ride so I followed him.
I started chasing him like a mad woman until I could bump him again and again.
I still remember my best friend sitting next to me yelling and laughing at the same time, not even trying to make me stop.

At the end, let’s just say the boy didn’t appreciate my bumper car chasing efforts.

  30. The craziest thing I did for love? For months I sent cards, gifts, and his favorite candy anonymously. Nothing overly mushy or stalker-like. Just something here and there to say “hey, I’m thinking about you”. His favorite candy was M&Ms so I took one of those HUGE glasses that look like a brandy snifter (SP?) and filled it full. On the top I put balloons as it was his birthday. I left a note as to where we could meet if he wanted to. I was there and wasn’t sure if he would show up. Sure enough, he did…..wasn’t a love match but at least I made him smile for a couple of months.
