I don't
think that a book has ever surprised me but I was completely surprised by
TALK TO ME. TALK TO ME is Cassandra Carr's debut novel and it packs a
wallop. This book was packed full of emotion, playfulness, and sexiness. The
sex was beyond combustible and very frequent but highly necessary to the
story. The plotting and pacing were great, too. It never slowed down and
there weren't unnecessary secondary characters to complicate the story. At
times, I really felt like I was part of the story; watching it unfold in the
shadows. I felt the emotions that Jamie and Drew were going through and
their thought processes. I highly recommend TALK TO ME for anyone that wants
to read a super sexy but thought provoking book about insecurities and
finding love when you thought you wouldn't love again.

Cassandra Carr's debut novel, TALK TO
ME, is a well-written, funny and sexy erotic story of falling in love.
Ms Carr wove the sexual tension and interludes so seamlessly into the
story that they were not just delicious but also necessary. With a
consistent pace, the story of Jamie and Drew progressed naturally as the
reader felt a sense of presence within the story.
TALK TO ME is a
sexy story with the added bonus of having more depth than most. Readers
will easily relate to the theme and be cheering the characters on as
they discover love in a place neither thought they would.

Talk to Me by
Cassandra Carr is one fast paced and sensual read. I love how the
ladies’ man is suddenly unsure of himself, when presented with a woman
who is really just what she projects herself to be, especially as it is
a coworker. I love Jamie’s ideas for his show and how she responds to
situations she is put in with him. I enjoyed not only the premise of Talk
to Me but the
writing. I look forward to more offerings from Ms. Carr.

Talk to Me by Cassandra Carr was a delightful read.
I loved Jamie and her star struck composure in the beginning.
Drew was definitely fantasizing material. When he came into play; pun not
intended. I giggled at her compromising position for their introduction
to each other. From there Drew was hooked. I felt for Jaime because it
seemed she wore her heart on her sleeve and deserved more than what
appeared to be going on off business hours. I only hoped Drew would get
it together.
Drew exuded
magnetism like moths to the flame. Hurt from the past he turned to the
bachelor womanizing ways. I was pleased as punch when Jaime knocked him
off his game and he began second guessing his decisions. The passion
sparked between them as their relationship grew to new levels. Dirty
talk and kink added another level of enjoyment to these two characters.
All in all a very good read for the evening, and one to pick up again.

People ask me a lot what “erotic romance” is,
because I write it. I say, it’s a love story in which sex is the primary
motivator behind a couple falling in love. They may not think they want to
be in love, and they may even think they’re going to have casual sex, but
they end up deep in a romance. And the sex is INTEGRAL to that. In fact, the
sex has to be the reason they fall in love.
This is what makes “Talk to
Me” so good. Unlike some books that call themselves erotic romance and are
really just an excuse to put sex scenes in every chapter, Drew and Jamie’s
story is quite literally the story of two people falling in love by having
sex. A lot of sex. Of course, the fact that Drew is an ex-hockey player
helps. But what really makes the book good, for me, is that she really gets
what makes erotic romance good. I’m compiling a list of erotic romance
authors that really get the concept of the genre, and based on this book, I
think Cassandra Carr will be on that list.

A very enjoyable read. It was nice to read the banter between the two characters.
There were some misunderstandings and ribbing by Drew's buddies that kept the
story flowing and easy to read. The book kept my interests and the hot love
making scenes were out of this world. A great story anyone would want to
read.

Let me say that the explicit erotic scenes were truly outstanding and
very well written to the point I could actually visualize each scene and
due to that I plan on reading more of Cassandra Carr’s work.

Both Drew and Jamie are believable characters with issues most of us can
relate to. Talk to Me does a great job of giving us the little details
that mean so much when connecting with characters and a storyline. I
would recommend Talk to Me for anyone who wants to read a good romance
with a lot of heat and a lot of heart.

Drew is the typical ex-sports star;
he keeps in shape, women throw themselves at him and he gains media
attention wherever he goes. He has functioned for years by keeping women
at arm’s length, using them only for sexual release and then discarding
them. When he meets Jamie, his entire reality is thrown off balance and
it was fabulous to see the mighty man-whore fall. I loved his slightly
smarmy playboy attitude because it made me giggle, but most of all I
loved that he took such attention over Jamie’s sexual pleasure. The main
attraction for her was his voice, so he talks dirty to her for most of
their time together (this was very very very hot!).
This is
definitely an erotic romance. There is lots and lots of sex, and it all
was incredibly steamy. There is limo sex, office sex, sex with food,
bath sex...you get the picture right? :D This is a story that starts with
sexual attraction, and the feelings grow from there. This is a very hot
read about a man and a woman who let lust over rule common sense and
have a very steamy affair and I enjoyed it...a lot!

Debut author Carr delivers a scorching erotic tale that captures the
essence of Manhattan, Brooklyn and two people who have legitimate
concerns about being in a relationship. With her skillful pen, she
draws them closer, past emotional pitfalls and well developed secondary
characters, towards a love that I genuinely believe is happily ever
after.

I was half in love with Drew by page ten! Drew has kept
himself in shape and likes to dominate in the bedroom, in addition to
having a sexy voice. Jamie is very sympathetic as well; she thinks her
curly hair is uncontrollable and her chest is
too large, but overall
she’s a strong, self-confident woman making her way in the broadcasting
business who isn’t afraid
to push back in the bedroom. The sex
between the two of them is very hot, including some light spanking and
bondage.
I enjoyed Talk to Me enough to look forward to more from
Cassandra Carr. I’m sure she will only get better!

This was such an enjoyable read! I quickly grew attached to the
characters and quickly had an invested interest in the outcome of their
pending relations. It was a nice, fun, light read that kept me turning
the page with no regard for time or responsibilities. The story was
interesting. I liked the idea behind the talk show. While I've read
plenty of athlete related romances, this was a slightly different spin
since Drew was retired and spent his time following hockey and doing
anything hockey related on his show. I'm not a big sports person so this
definitely made it easy for someone like me (who knows nothing of
hockey) to follow along and not feel left behind in different scenes.
What I liked most was that if you took out all the sex, there is still a
great story going on. I've read my fair share of Loose Id novels and I
think this is one of the best. I, being a hopeless romantic, love the
story. The struggle to finally get together. Neither the story, nor the
romance gets left behind in this book. A hot read that should definitely
get picked up!
